I’m reminded tonight of how important planning is. I’m also thinking about how important it is to stay limber when you’re working in the Church world. No matter how much planning you do, things can change. We met a few weeks ago for Easter and got the ball rolling on some projects and then last week we decided that we were going to change things up a bit. Part of being creative is the ability to adapt. Now we’re heading in a little different direction but I feel it’s the right direction. I love Easter, I love that people will walk in our doors for the first time. I love that we have the opportunity to communicate God’s love to people who don’t know Him. It’s an incredible opportunity and responsibility. I’m praying that God will use his church all over the world to do amazing things this Easter.
- Easter is fast approaching, that means I need to wrap up video projects so I can help with the stage redesign.
- I’m so grateful to have Kristopher working on our team.
- I hope the stands for the Plasmas get off of backorder and make their way to LHC
- When is my “I Heart Revolution” CD getting here from Australia?
- I cant wait to work on the “Overflow” intro. Overflow is the series that begins after Easter.
- This year I live in Austin and I wasn’t able to go to SXSW. However I did enjoy following the highlights on Twitter.
- Speaking of Twitter, I am liking it a lot.
- I’m getting ready to start a new book.
- It’s really hot in Austin today, I’m so glad I don’t have to work outside like the men that are cutting the grass at the church.
- Ed Young has a blog.
- My sister was in town this week, we had a blast!
- More than anything else on the list, I love my wife so much and excited about spending the weekend together!
It’s a great time to be @ LHC. So many new and exciting things in the works, I can’t talk about all of them but our team is growing! I really feel like were right on the edge of an explosion of sorts. The arts team is cranking out some great work, I believe we have the very best worship team around. And of course there is Mac, the most gifted leader and teacher I’ve met! I’ll keep you updated on things!
We’re doing a little traveling next week. I’ve been looking forward to this trip for a long time! Time to go buy some Sunscreen!
it’s a beautiful fall day in Austin, and I’m working outside! As far as work is concerned it doesn’t really get any better. Got to play some wall ball earlier. I’m almost finished with Videos for Sunday. We have three this week. A new intro, a performance piece, and a missions slideshow.
THINGS I’M THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW…
- I absolutely love being married.
- How much I love working at LHC.
- I’m excited about traveling next week.
- I like basketball, but for some reason tonight it just seem exciting on TV tonight. It’s nothing like football!
- I hope that they release the Adobe After Effects CS3 patch 10.5
- It was really good to have Ed Young Jr. at Lake Hills this past Sunday. Ed and Mac just released a new book, check it out.
- I’m excited about seeing some really good friends this weekend!
- If you use google calendar, there is a great way to Sync it with iCal.
- If you like notecards get these.
- I can’t stop listening to this. I highly recommend it.
I’ve given this a try a few times and it’s never really worked out for me, this is another effort. Live is much different now, and in a way I have even less time than I did before to tackle this, but I really would like to share what’s going on in my life. Since I’ve stopped blogging, I’ve taken a new job at a church in Austin, moved to Austin, and most importantly I got married. It’s been a challenge starting our new life together in a new city with few friends, but we’re so excited about being here in Austin and being at a great church. We both love our new jobs, and we’re ready to do this together and have fun in the process. I’m excited about this. I’m excited about sharing.
